THE BRAND
Designed in New York for real life. WeWoreWhat creates a modern wardrobe built for the way women actually live. Thoughtful silhouettes, elevated fabrics and considered details designed to take you through the full day, without overthinking the outfit. A new era of WeWoreWhat. Same point of view, grown up.
OUR STORY
What started as documenting daily outfits became something much bigger. WeWoreWhat began in 2010 as Danielle Bernstein’s personal style diary, documenting what she wore on the streets of New York. As the audience grew, so did the idea behind it: not just sharing the clothes she loved, but creating the pieces she felt were missing from her own closet.
Over the years, that point of view evolved from content into product, and from a personal platform into a global fashion business. Through every iteration, the relationship with the community has remained at the center - listening to what women want to wear, how they shop, and what keeps them coming back. Fifteen years later, WeWoreWhat is still evolving - just with a much clearer sense of who we are.
DESIGN APPROACH
At WeWoreWhat, our collections draw from fashion and culture, archival and vintage references, and years of community feedback. We interpret those influences through the way our customer lives and gets dressed, creating pieces that feel wearable and accessible.
As part of our continued evolution, we’ve strengthened the way our designs are reviewed before they reach customers and become more deliberate about how inspiration and references move through our process.
WEGAVEWHAT
Giving back has always been part of what we do. WeGaveWhat was created to turn our community into collective action. Since launching, we’ve raised and donated more than $500,000 to organizations supporting families, women, youth, disaster relief, mental health and communities in need. Beyond fundraising, we’ve organized local food, toy and school-supply drives, created volunteer opportunities and mobilized our community around causes where we can make a meaningful difference together.
